I'm Thomas Crane, a photographer and filmmaker.

Before weddings, I worked in documentary and editorial film, where I learned to observe before directing, to follow feeling before structure.

Most wedding films look the same: slow, overly dramatic, no real story. I wanted something different; energy, atmosphere, emotion. Not performances or trends, but the moments in between.

I take on around twelve weddings a year, so every story gets the attention it deserves.

Because in thirty years, you won't remember the details. You'll remember how it felt.

You did that so fast!! What an amazing end to our trip getting that! It looks amazing, I can’t wait til I’m home and we can put it on the tv!!

12 years behind a camera — first in nightlife, documentary, then editorial, now weddings. I work quietly, mostly unnoticed, I would rather miss a posed shot than a real moment.

I photograph and film every wedding, and I edit every frame myself. The person you meet on the first call is the one standing next to you on your day.

Named for the birds that mate for life.
